Employees and Social Issues

Building relationships with all Malmbergers is easy. Both those who bear the surname Malmberg and those of us who work here.

Inclusive Environment

At Malmberg, we continuously work to create a workplace where everyone feels included and where the work culture is characterized by belonging and joy. Working at a family business should entail an extra strong sense of connection to the company, where we all feel that we can contribute and belong. Through competence development, good opportunities to find new challenges within the company, and a healthy work-life balance, an environment is created where we can thrive, develop, and thus achieve the company’s goals. We do not tolerate discrimination against employees, customers, suppliers, or candidates and take pride in acting respectfully. The work environment should be safe, both from a physical and a psychosocial perspective.

Dialogue and Participation

Through regular development discussions and dialogues between managers and employees, anonymous employee surveys, and discussions about the results, we provide opportunities to work on improvement areas.

Strategy, Vision, Culture

Malmberg is a company that encourages wellness and understands its importance! We offer gym memberships to our employees and then reward each completed card with new branded workout clothes. Every Thursday lunchtime, we also set aside time for the beloved tradition of

“Thursday Running,” where we collectively take a run in the beautiful Yngsjö Forest.

During the fall, we offered employees the opportunity to participate in instructor-led yoga as a start to the workweek. This initiative was appreciated by everyone and is planned to return in various forms in 2024.

Winner of the Humlestafetten 2023

Malmberg has a tradition of participating in the classic Humlestafetten relay race. It’s a relay where you take turns running six legs. Malmberg participated with a team outside of working hours and managed to win – a real work-life balance victory!

Spin of Hope

Spin of Hope is the largest spinning event in the Nordic region where participants cycle to fight childhood cancer.

Every year, thousands of people participate and raise money for the Children’s Cancer Foundation for their important work. Since its inception in 2009, Spin of Hope has managed to raise over 50 million SEK with the help of up to 1,500 organizers and over 170,000 participants.

Malmberg participated with a gold bike on Saturday, March 23, 2023, and together with several other local companies, we cycled for 12 hours in support of childhood cancer work!

eNPS

We continuously work with our results from eNPS measurements. eNPS is calculated based on the question “How likely is it that you would recommend Malmberg as an employer to a friend or acquaintance?” The eNPS value is calculated by subtracting the proportion of promoters (9–10) from detractors (0–6). The scale for the result ranges from -100 to +100.

Eletive

For a few years now, Malmberg has been using the employee platform Eletive to map and enable organizational health. The platform is employee-driven and quickly provides a deeper insight into corporate culture. Each individual can follow their personal development, which promotes self-leadership.
