What is your role at Malmberg?
My role is the Technical Manager at Malmberg Water, which means I lead process engineers and engineers who design and construct water and wastewater treatment plants.

The most enjoyable part of my role is being able to influence how we work and coming up with solutions to improve our work processes. Assisting and supporting colleagues is also a rewarding part of my job. I believe that employees who are happy and have fun go hand in hand with achieving good results.

Being a part of something as important as water supply feels absolutely right.

What are the best aspects of working at Malmberg?
One thing that comes to mind immediately is that what we do at Malmberg is part of a socially significant function. This is what attracted me to join in the first place. Being a part of something as important as water supply feels absolutely right. There is also a high level of innovation here and a strong desire to create new solutions, discover new technologies, and bring them to the market. We are at the forefront instead of passively responding to bids. We have developed things like ELOVAC to contribute to reducing environmental impact, and this wouldn’t even exist on the market today without Malmberg.

There is also a wealth of experience at Malmberg, which is impressive. Knowledge and ideas abound within these walls. Another thing that sets Malmberg apart, in my opinion, is that we have long-term owners, which provides a great opportunity to look towards the future and where we want to go.

What does it mean to you to work in a future-oriented industry?
To me, it means constantly thinking about the next step. The opportunities are there, and we have the chance to make changes here and now. Personally, it is very motivating for me to be part of an industry with promising and exciting prospects that will remain relevant in the future as well.

What role do you have at Malmberg?
My role at the company is as a Process Engineer at Malmberg Energy.

The best part of my role is being involved in developing new technologies that contribute to sustainability. Of course, making customers satisfied is also an enjoyable part of my job.

For me, flexibility is important, and I find that at Malmberg. My job offers flexibility in both how I work and what I work on. I vary between working at the office, being on-site, and visiting clients. There is also good collaboration among colleagues and a wide range of expertise.

What is your perspective on the future of the industry? How do you think the industry will evolve?
In the future, I hope that we continue to focus on collaboration and holistic solutions for our customers and for the climate.

Matilda Svanteskoog

What role do you have at Malmberg?
I have a quite diverse role at Malmberg. I work as a receptionist and administrator but I am also part of the HR team.

There are new things happening all the time here, which makes it exciting to come to work every day. One of the most important and enjoyable parts of my job is ensuring that everyone is well taken care of.

What is the best part about working at Malmberg?

The best thing about Malmberg is the colleagues and the feeling that what we can accomplish here matters to the world. I believe what sets us apart is being a family-owned company, which makes you feel involved and gives you significant opportunities to make an impact. There is also a strong focus on making this a great and attractive workplace, which is very enjoyable.

I believe that we will continue to do what we do best and be a leader in it. We will also continue to excel in what we do and maintain the focus on making Malmberg an attractive workplace.

Martin Turesson

What role do you have at Malmberg?
My role is Senior Process Engineer at Malmberg, which involves mentoring colleagues, working on bids and business strategies, planning, as well as calculations and drawings. I appreciate having a varied role and being able to have a significant degree of control over my work. I can focus on what I find most enjoyable and important.

I find that the best part is that I get to take the lead, receive trust, and have opportunities for personal development.

The best part, from my experience, is that I get to take the lead, receive trust, and have opportunities for personal development. It is also not a very large company, which creates a sense of familiarity and a family-like atmosphere.

How does it feel to work in a future-oriented industry?
For me, it feels very apparent since I previously worked with nuclear power. Water and environmental technology are always something positive, and it is very gratifying to feel proud of the work I do at Malmberg.

What is your perspective on the future of the industry?
In the future, I hope that all drinking water and wastewater will become circular. We should make the most of everything we can! This includes phosphorus recovery, reuse, circulation, and resource recovery, simply put.
